This tab only appears in the product maintenance if product packs are enabled in the company.
Here, you will be able to define the pack type and units or percentages of other products that make up the product being defined. The pack is used to subtract inventory.
Pack not used: This is used for normal inventory control without packs. When 1 unit of product A is sold, 1 product is subtracted from the inventory of A.
Pack by unit: In the pack grid, enter the products and units of each one of the products that make up the pack. For example, if product A is composed of 2 units of products B and 1 unit of product C, then when two units of product A are sold, the program will subtract 4 units of product B and 2 units of product C.
Pack by % and weight: Indicate the product weight and % of products that make up the pack. For example, if product A weighs 100 g and has 25% of product B and 75% of product C, then when two units of product A are sold, the program will subtracts 50 g of product B and 150 g of product C.
Carry product and pack: Check this option if, in addition to subtracting the products that make up the pack, you also want it the pack to be subtracted from the inventory of the pack product.
